Mingara Central Coast Triathlon Club Duathlon Pointscore
The results format remains the same as last year, with the best five results counting in the pointscore calculation. Points are determined by dividing the competitors time into the grade winners time, expressed as a percentage. The winner of the grade receives 1000 pts, then the remaining competitors time will be calculated. For example"
- Competitor A wins the grade with a time of 50mins - 1000pts
- Competitor B placed 2nd in 55 min - 90.9% of winning time - 909pts
- Competitor C placed 3rd in 60 min - 83.3% of winning time 833pts
To qualify, the competitor or a family member needs to marshall for at least one event.
